St. Louis lost a tough one last night after outplaying the Bruins at home. Boston was able to score on their chances against Brian Elliot and that was the difference in the game. The season record now sits at (113-122) for -6.15 units. Thursday isn’t quite as busy as normal in the NHL, but there are 6 games on tap so that is more than enough to find some sharp plays.
St. Louis Blues @ Nashville Predators
The Blues lost a hard fought battle against the Bruins last night and they are right back at it tonight in Nashville. The Blues have now lost their last two games, albeit against strong teams, but they have also lost 4 of their last 6 road games and 4 out of 5 of their most recent second of back-to-back night outings. The Preds on the other hand are fresh having defeated the Canucks at home two nights ago and they have won 8 of their last 9 at home. I like the Predators in this one.

Vancouver Canucks @ Detroit Red Wings
The Canucks are in town to try to prevent the Red Wings home winning streak from hitting 24 in their home winning streak. Both teams have been playing great hockey and the Canucks have been very solid on the road this season (20-10-2), but the Wings are playing crazy hockey in front of their home fans and you have to expect that to continue until they lose one. Detroit leads the season series against the Canucks 2-1 and the Canucks are in the middle of a long road trip. Also, whenever I look at the Canucks I have to think that their record is a little bit bloated due to the fact they are in the easiest division in the league. I like the Red Wings as only slight favorites in this one.

If you put a $10 parlay on these two plays you would be in line for a $33.38 payout if both plays hit. With Proline you would only be able to get $24.80 and that would be if they even allowed two team parlays (which they do not). Once again a recommendation to stay away from Proline.
