The Hurricanes came back to give us a win in that game, but the Sharks were unable to find a way past Jonathan Quick, with that game ending 1-0 for LA.
Season Record: 34-61 for -30.52 units.
Ottawa Senators @ Columbus Blue Jackets
The Blue Jackets blew a 2 goal lead last night in Carolina and have now lost 2 games since their amazing winning streak. The Sens on the other hand have not played since noon on Saturday and although they got beat by Carolina convincingly, many of those goals were a direct result of Robin Lehner not having a great game. The Sens know this is close to a must win game and I expect them to be on top of Columbus all night.
Play: Senators 1.99 (5Dimes)
Carolina Hurricanes @ Montreal Canadiens
The Hurricanes did play last night, but they found a way to win over a strong Blue Jackets team coming back from 2 goals down. That makes it 4 wins in a row for the surging Hurricanes, who head to Montreal to face a struggling Montreal team. The Canadiens have scored only 2 goals in their last 3 games and have dropped out of the top 3 in the Atlantic division. Carolina is two points back of the Canadiens right now and cannot let up if they hope to make the post season.
Play: Hurricanes 2.38 (5Dimes)
New Jersey Devils @ St. Louis Blues
The Devils embarrassed the Blues 7-1 in their last meeting. You can be sure that St. Louis will be looking to exact some revenge tonight. This game is in St. Louis where they are 18-5-2 this year, while the Devils are 10-13-5 on the road. I don’t see this game being close with the Blues not letting up to make up for their embarrassing loss to the Devils just a little while back. Take the Blues puck line.
Play: Blues (-1.5) 2.50 (5Dimes)
