NHL Betting Predictions February 7th

Tampa Bay Lightning logoIt’s Tuesday and there are once again a lot of games on the NHL schedule tonight.  My season record to date sits at (98-110) for -10.29 units.

New Jersey Devils @ New York Rangers

The Devils have been very hot of late winning their last 4 games while scoring 20 goals over that span.  Heading into New York the Devils will need to continue finding that offense as they take on the team that has given up the fewest goals against this season.  The Rangers have continued their stellar play and are on a two game winning streak of their own, but I like the red hot Devils at +155 odds in this one.

Los Angeles Kings @ Tampa Bay Lightning

The Kings have lost two in a row on the road and are back to not being able to provide offense as they only potted 1 goal in those two games.  Tampa has won 6 of their last 7 games and are trying to make a push to be in contention in the Eastern Conference coming down the stretch.  They are still a ways off so every game is vital for them.  I expect them to generate much more offense than the Kings in this one and pull out the victory.

Vancouver Canucks @ Nashville Predators

The Canucks head into Nashville to play a Predators team that has only lost twice in their last 13 games.  They have also won their last 6 home games.  Tonight is a bigger test against a Canucks team that is also playing good hockey, but I expect the Preds to continue their hot streak and win this one at home before heading out of town for a couple games.

Play: Predators +101 (BetOnline.com)

Phoenix Coyotes @ Dallas Stars

The Coyotes have won two in a row as they attempt to stay in the hunt for the playoffs in the Eastern Conference.  This is a huge game against a Stars team that has the same number of points, but two games in hand.  I see this game going either way so I like the Coyotes as underdogs with a decent return.

Play: Coyotes +128 (5Dimes.com)
